Meet our #HIVadvocate Raymond C. Delgado. He is a local freelance artist and chef, has spent spent several years educating his LGBTQ peers and local youth about HIV awareness and prevention.
Raymond is one of the co-founders of The House of Pandorah, a youth group focused on HIV issues within Hartford. The House taught these kids the history and evolution of Vogue and would entertain local events with routines choreographed by Raymond.
Raymond’s house has collaborated with organizations such HYHIL, LCS, and HGLHC doing various outreach within the community. He plans on reopening a new chapter of his house to continue his work and involvement with the community sometime in the future.
In the meantime, Raymond can be found in his studio creating mixed media artwork as well as one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces. His work can be seen on Facebook @NTNbyRCD and he can be reached at RCDCT@outlook.com
